Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader Hina Pervez Butt has decided to take up the London attack with the city’s police and press charges against the perpetrators today (Tuesday).
The former lawmaker allegedly faced harassment from a group of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters, who jeered and taunted him during a private family outing in London. Made fun of.
The video of the incident, which shows the assailants throwing bottles and abusing the butt, has been widely condemned by Twitterati.
The PML-N leader has decided to take legal action against the incident.
It should be noted that Butt was with his son when he was attacked.
In another video of the incident, a man who was part of the crowd can be seen holding a PTI flag and abusing the butt, while his son is visibly upset.
Taking to X, which was earlier on Twitter on Monday, Butt lashed out at his attackers and wrote: “Insolent and rude PTI people attacked me in front of my son in London, threw bottles at me and They have stooped to the extent of abusing me.

As the video went viral, social media poured in to condemn the act. Many users felt that such moves were taking things too far, despite people’s political grievances.
Several users on the microblogging site, including politicians and journalists, strongly condemned the incident.
This is not the first time such an incident has happened, earlier, former Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb was also killed in a coffee shop in September last year.
Former Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal also faced similar treatment at the hands of PTI supporters.
