Originally launched in a handful of countries, it has now gone global, including Pakistan.
What are channels?
Think of channels as specific places where you can share updates and content with a wider audience.
This differs from older broadcast lists that send messages individually.
How to use channels
You can find channels under the “Updates” tab on WhatsApp. This is where you can see status updates and discover new channels.
Creating your own channel
Although not everyone can create their own channel immediately, some in Pakistan are already doing so.
For most of us, this is a feature that will come gradually.
