One of the most popular battle royale games, Call of Duty: Warzone, has been played by more than 100 million people since its March 2020 release. While many people play for fun, there are some of us who let our competitive streaks get the better of us. Here are some tips to improve the mobile version of the game.
Since its release, the game has undergone an evolution. Getting several seasons of new content, giving its players access to brand new weapons, contracts, and activities around the vast open world of Vardansk and, most recently, the WWII-themed Caldera. In Season 3, 2022, Godzilla and King Kong appeared, much to the amusement of fans.
But before you dive into the latest season of the game, here are some Warzone tips and tricks that can help you not only survive but also dominate.
Familiarize yourself with weapons.
Start by getting familiar with the guns and other weapons in the game. If you can, learn all the weapons and their pros and cons.
Given that Call of Duty: Warzone is a first-person shooter (FPS) player versus player (PvP) game, it should go without saying that players’ weapons are very important.
How can you expect to land a headshot with a grenade launcher unless you know how it really works, its strengths and weaknesses?
Hence, familiarizing yourself with the weapons of the game is the first thing you should do before choosing the best one for you.
In Call of Duty: Warzone, you have over 160 weapons at your disposal, so you can’t be expected to practice with them all.
It’s best to choose your playstyle first, and only then should you start looking for weapons to fit it.
If not, you’ll be wasting time testing all kinds of weapons, including weapons you have no business owning.
Configure your loadout.
It would be best to organize your loadout before starting any round. Take advantage of the fact that Call of Duty: Warzone allows players to set up a variety of loadouts filled with their favorite gear and weapons.
Be smart when setting up your loadout. Weapons with heart rate sensors and other amenities, which enable you to identify your opponent from a distance, can be important.
You can quickly kill the opposing player without telling them who you are targeting.
Keep in mind that Call of Duty: Warzone is a game where you have to quickly gain the upper hand and keep the pressure on until you succeed. Simply put, you cannot afford to play recklessly.
Check your sound settings.
Now, this was your first mistake if you didn’t pay much attention to your game’s sound settings.
You are not alone in this either. Many Call of Duty: Warzone players only focus on the settings that immediately affect their gameplay. It will ruin them. A game’s audio greatly affects the gameplay. You’d be better off spending money on a good set of headphones and disabling the game’s music as well.
The immersive feel of the game is enhanced, but the motion sound is reduced. If you set the music to about 20% you will outperform your peers.
Go through other settings as well.
Why not check out the other gameplay options while you’re already adjusting the sound settings?
Call of Duty: Warzone’s default settings are adequate. However, they are also unmentionable, which is a fact. They simply complete the task at hand.
If you want to perform at your best, you need to further adapt the gameplay parameters to your playing preferences. You can only get something close to 100% performance using it.
There are many options for messing around, but the main ones are as follows:
BR Button Layout: Should be a personal preference, but the strategy is good.
Sensitivity: Again this is down to personal preference, so experiment with a setting that feels right for you.
Armor Plate Behavior: Put them all on.
Slide Behavior: Tap.
Automatic Sprint: Automatic tactical sprint.
Parachute Auto-Deploy: Should be disabled.
Minimap Shape: Square
One must know where to fall.
Although the game enables you to drop anywhere on the map, it would not be a good idea to do so.
To avoid getting shot in the first few seconds of the round—a very unpleasant experience—you should try to land somewhere safe.
You can also stay in the air longer and glide down to your chosen drop spot while keeping yourself on the side.
Quickly lower your priority in the game. The faster you fall, the easier it will be to avoid any traps that may be waiting for you.
However, don’t risk your safety in the process.
