Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are considered as one of the power couples of Bollywood and recently they are making headlines for their hit movie Brahmastra which released last week.
According to reports, the Gangubai Kathiawari actress has always been open about her love for the rockstar actor. She fell in love with Ranbir when she was just nine and he was 20.
The Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani star revealed that he met Alia on the sets of an ad shoot and was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali at the time.
Interestingly, before the film’s release, the couple appeared on the Telugu game show Cash along with other cast members for promotions.
During the show, the 29-year-old saw her husband on screen for the first time.
“When I first saw Ranbir on screen, I was like, ‘There’s something, there’s a connection. I love this man,'” said the darling actress.
Alia told the host that they are not friends even after meeting a couple of times. She added that the actor had started “flirting” with her “when they took their first flight together to prepare for an Ayan Mukherjee film.”
For the uninitiated, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on April 14 this year and are now expecting their first child.
