Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan asked the party leaders and supporters to return those who made threats from unknown numbers.
Addressing a rally in Chakwal on Monday, the former minister asked the public to wait for his ‘call’ to protest.
“Women, children and especially the youth must prepare themselves, and be prepared,” he asked people to break the chains of fear.
He gave the example of the people of Kufa and said that they were afraid of Yazid and did not go out.
He said that when he says that the army chief should be elected on merit, it means that Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz should not elect the next army chief because they are the most corrupt people and on merit. Do not trust.
He said that if the People’s Party believed in merit, Aitzaz Ahsan would have been the head of the People’s Party instead of Zardari and Bilawal. Similarly Maryam Nawaz will not be taking all major decisions of PML-N.
He said that these two parties do not believe in merit. Imran Khan said that if you want a prosperous Pakistan, the country dreamed of by Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, you should come out when I give the call to prayer.
