Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached New York to attend the UNGA meeting

New York: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in New York from London to represent Pakistan in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During his stay in New York, he will hold important bilateral meetings with leaders of other countries.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the UN Secretary General’s reception today and will also meet French President Emmanuel Macron.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also meet the Chancellor of Austria and the President of Spain. He will meet the President of the European Union Council, Charles Michael.

The Prime Minister will also participate in the Global Food Security Summit. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and World Bank President David Mills tomorrow (Wednesday).

Apart from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Shehbaz Sharif will also have a bilateral meeting with Iranian President Seyed Ibrahim Raisi.

He will host a dinner in honor of the Turkish president and his wife on Wednesday.

Other engagements of the Prime Minister include meetings with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Emil Sabri Yaqub, the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, and the Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai.

Shahbaz Sharif will also meet the Prime Ministers of China, Japan and Luxembourg.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.

During his stay in America, Shahbaz Sharif will give interviews to various famous American media persons.
