Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday visited flood-affected camps in Sindh’s Badin district and other adjoining areas. Later, he met the businessmen of Sindh and urged them to play their full role in helping the victims.

According to pictures and videos released by the army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Bajwa on Friday conducted an aerial inspection of the flood-hit areas in and around Badin.

He also visited the relief and medical camps where shelter, relief and relief materials are being provided to the flood victims.

The Army Chief also met the soldiers engaged in relief activities in Malkani Sharif and spent some time with them.

Later he met the business community in Karachi.

The Army Chief said that the business community has always taken steps during various natural calamities in the country. He said that this time too it would not be possible to help the affected people without the help and cooperation of the business community.

Acknowledging the role of the military in providing a safe environment for economic prosperity, the business community also assured maximum support to the flood victims.
