Former Pakistan hockey team captain Mohammad Saqlain believes that the middle order batsmen of the national cricket team should play hockey to improve their hand-eye coordination.
Saqleen spoke during the first semi-final between Punjab Color and Punjab White during the ongoing CM Balochistan Gold Cup hockey tournament in Quetta on Sunday.
“Pakistan’s middle-order batsmen, who will go for the T20 World Cup, should play hockey to improve their hand-eye coordination,” Saqlain said.

Tongue-in-cheek comment by ex-Pakistan captain Saqlain 😅
He added that ex-Pakistan captain @iRashidLatif68 was a great hockey player as well.
He further said that former Pakistani Rashid Latif was also a great hockey player.
It should be noted that Pakistan’s middle order has been under constant criticism for the past few months, due to their unbalanced performance with the bat.
