Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday refused to inaugurate the flood dashboard prepared by the government, saying it fell short of the ‘world-class’ standards he expected.
Attending the inauguration ceremony of the dashboard, Shahbaz raised several questions on the dashboard and expressed dissatisfaction over the missing features.
Noting that if it didn’t show useful, real-time data for cloudbursts and maps, it was pretty useless.
The prime minister was scheduled to inaugurate the real-time dashboard on Monday.
He gave the authorities till Monday to fix the dashboard.
