Barry Keoghan Says ‘No Call From Warner Bros’ For Joker In ‘The Batman’

Batman actor Barry Keoghan has revealed that he has yet to receive a call from Warner Bros. to reprise his role as the Joker in The Batman sequel.

During a recent interview, he revealed that Warner Bros. has yet to approach him to reprise his role in the film, “As soon as they call, I’m the guy there,” he said. said “I’m there.”

Keoghan played the iconic role of The Joker in The Batman starring Pattinson.

The Dunkirk actor revealed that his Joker is based on his experience, “a little charming and a little painful.”

“I wanted some kind of human being behind the makeup,” he said. “I want people to relate to him… [to know] it’s a facade that he wears.” The actor added that he described him simply as “a broken boy”.

Although Keoghan had a brief role in The Batman, his performance was well received.

The 29-year-old self-confessed that he has recently been added to the list of on-screen jokers.

However, a Batman sequel has yet to be confirmed. The film is said to be in development, but is reportedly “years away.”
