The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday requested the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to provide details of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s financial statements in connection with the Tosha Khana case.
The ECP, which is hearing the case against Imran for not disclosing the gifts kept from Tosha Khana.
The apex poll body said that after reviewing Imran’s financial statements – as provided by the central bank, the body will consider whether he has violated any norms.
After that, the case will be decided.
The ECP had reserved the verdict in the Toshakhana case on September 19.
