Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Colonel (retd) Hashim Dogar resigned as Punjab Home Minister on Tuesday.
Dogar has sent his resignation to Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi for approval.
In his resignation letter sent to Chief Minister Punjab Elahi, he said, “I am very happy to serve under your leadership as the Minister of Home Affairs and Jails.”
“I regret to inform you that I will not be able to continue as Punjab Home and Jails Minister due to personal commitments and some health issues,” he wrote to the Chief Minister.
