The election campaign for the by-elections for eight seats of the National Assembly and three seats of the Punjab Assembly ended on the midnight of October 14 and 15, 2022. Voting will take place on Sunday (October 16), JEE News reported.
According to the ECP, no candidate or party leader shall address rallies or corner meetings or take out processions in their respective constituencies after the prescribed date.
Political parties and candidates must follow the provisions of the law and exercise self-restraint to conduct peaceful elections on October 16, 2022. Legal action will be taken against political leaders and parties violating the rules.
By-elections will be held on Sunday in 11 constituencies, including six in Punjab, three in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two in Sindh.
