Rawalpindi: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed was directed to vacate Lal Haveli and former home minister’s political center in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
Eviction notices have been sent to the AML chief and his brother Sheikh Siddique by the Abandoned Trust Property Board.
Asif Khan, the deputy administrator of the board, warned that if the possession is not vacated within seven days, the possession will be vacated with the help of the police.
He also wrote a letter to Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi on October 19 for police assistance.
Khan said that several hearings have been held in this regard, but Rashid and his brothers have failed to produce any authentic documents.
