Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the trailer of Drishyam 2 reopens the case of Sam’s disappearance after seven years.
Ajay Devgn’s much-loved character “Vijay Salgaonkar” is all set to hit the big screen once again, as the sequel to his blockbuster film is slated to hit the theaters on 18th November 2022.
The trailer opens with Vijay Salgaonkar still interrogating Sam’s family for his disappearance even after 7 years.
This time, Akshay Khanna is the investigating officer, determined to put Vijay and his family behind bars, but he faces a single obstacle – lack of evidence.
Drishyam was a remake of the 2013 hit Malayalam film of the same name.
In the film, Devgn plays Vijay Salgaonkar who protects his daughter who accidentally kills the son of the Inspector General, who tries to blackmail him.
Along with Ajay Devgn, the film also stars Akshay Khanna, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Shreya Saran, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant.
