In an incident that shocked the internet, a passenger on the plane who was allegedly drunk got into an argument with crew members and even bit off a steward’s finger.
A flight bound for Jakarta, Indonesia had to make an emergency landing at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s Kolanamo International Airport, Medan, due to an intoxicated passenger. He threw punches at the staff which escalated the fight.
A video of the incident is circulating on social media in which the man can be seen going on a rampage. A flight attendant was seen kicking a passenger in self-defense.
The Turkish Airlines plane on the Istanbul-Jakarta route had to be diverted to Medan because passengers were angry and attacked the crew. According to local media, the passenger flew into a rage when told to calm down, after which he bit off the finger of a crew member.
JEE News reported that the intoxicated man was treated after being taken off the plane.
