Sasural Summer actor Vaishali Tucker was found dead at her residence. It was initially reported that she died by suicide, but recent reports suggest that she was being harassed by her neighbor, who is currently on the loose.
Sasural Samar Ka Se Tucker co-star Vikas Sethi and his wife told a media outlet that before they left for Indore a week ago, he broke up with them and discussed some trouble with his neighbor.
Sethi told JEE News that she was about to come to Mumbai for her wedding shopping. Tucker was going to marry Mitesh, a software engineer based in California.
“She parted ways with us to celebrate my birthday a week before May 12, when she was going to her hometown Indore. She was the life of every party. She was cheerful and a lot of fun,” he said.
His wife added, “I guess he was worried about his ex Rahul [who also happens to be his neighbour]. He talked to me about it, and I told him that we Will deal with it and sort it out. However, she told me not to worry and she would handle the situation. I am at a loss for words.”
Assistant Commissioner of Police Motiur Rehman told ANI, “His e-gadgets will be checked. Rahul used to harass her due to which she took this extreme step. Her diary will be scrutinized because her neighbor Rahul Nolani harassed her. She was going to marry another man but he also interrupted her.
“The suicide note shows that her neighbor harassed her,” he added.
Tucker was part of hit Indian drama series including Sasral Summer Ka, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehna Hai, Yeh Vada Raha and Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
