BRISBANE: Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi made a brilliant comeback in the T20 World Cup 2022, keeping his strength intact.
The fast bowler joined the team in Australia to play the mega event after spending weeks in England to rehabilitate his right knee injury.
During a warm-up match against Afghanistan, Shaheen threw a deadly leg-crusher at Afghanistan opener Rehmanullah Garbaz, leaving him limping.
Bowl took a wicket, pain sending the Afghan player back to the dugout with the support of his teammate.
Pakistani fans were excited to see Shaheen in full rhythm. The left-arm fast bowler conceded just four runs with two wickets in his first spell of two overs. Later, he finished with figures of 2-29 in four overs.
