The leadership candidates will face the hustings on Monday.
Backbench Tory MPs Graham Brady’s 1922 committee says it will be on Monday to help MPs decide who to back in the leadership race.
The first ballot for MPs will take place later on Monday – if there are three candidates with more than 100 supporters, the loser will be eliminated.
Once there are two candidates left, an indicative vote will be taken to let the party membership know who is the preferred successor among MPs.
