At least four militants were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in North Waziristan on Friday.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), it has been said that there was an exchange of fire between the security forces and the militants in Aspinwarm area of ​​North Waziristan.
The statement said that a patrol of the security forces spotted a group of armed men. When they approached the men, they opened fire. Four militants were killed in the retaliatory action.
The ISPR said that after the incident, the security forces recovered guns, ammunition and explosives from their possession while inspecting the dead persons.
The militants were reportedly involved in increasing attacks on law enforcement agencies in North Waziristan.
