Melbourne: Iftikhar Ahmed entered the record books on Sunday by holding the record for most sixes by a Pakistani batsman in Australia.
Ahmed hit four sixes in his innings against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) during the teams’ opening match and scored 51 off 34 balls.

Ahmed was the first to hit three sixes in Canberra.
In 2019, Pakistan captain Babar Azam hit two sixes in Sydney and Kamran Akmal also managed to hit as many sixes at the same venue in 2010.
