Pakistan’s first veiled female rapper, Eva B, is the latest face to be seen as the EQUAL Pakistan October ambassador on the digital billboard in Times Square, New York.
According to Spotify’s press release, Eva B has nearly 400,000 listeners on the biggest music streaming app.
His popular song, Kana Yaari has over 10 million streams on the audio streaming platform.
Spotify Pakistan shared the news on its Instagram handle with the caption, “@IamEvaaB is kind of magical, as the first Baloch artist to be featured in Times Square.”
The rapper started his music career in 2014, and has now collaborated with leading names in the Pakistani music industry such as Ali Gul Peer, and Anas Baloch.
One of her popular songs, Rosie, was featured in the Disney+ superhero series Ms. Also included in Marvel.
Expressing her happiness at being featured as EQUAL Pakistan’s ambassador, Eva said, “I feel very excited, and I am happy to be a part of Spotify’s EQUAL program. I feel very proud. “Such initiatives are not only important, they are really needed. They are the need of the hour.”
