Senior journalist and anchor person Arshad Sharif was shot dead in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
It was initially reported that Arshad Sharif had died in an accident, but later his wife Jawaria Siddiqui confirmed that the journalist had been shot dead in Kenya.
On Twitter, Siddiqui said Kenyan police told him Sharif had been shot dead in Nairobi, while further investigations were underway.

Sharif’s wife urged people not to share their family photos, personal details or last photos of Sharif from the hospital on social media.
Sharif was earlier associated with ARY News and resigned from the channel and moved to Dubai. He was spotted in London a few days ago after arriving from Dubai before heading to Kenya.
After the news of Sharif’s death, condolence started from all over the country.
PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his condolences on the death of journalist Arshad Sharif.
PML-N leader Hina Pervaiz Butt extended heartfelt condolences on the demise of the journalist, while PTI leader Ali Zaidi also expressed his grief on the death of Sharif.
