OSOM and Solana have revealed the specs of their upcoming Android smartphone for crypto enthusiasts, which will have built-in Web 3 compatibility.
The smartphone is dubbed as the successor to the Essential PH-1 launched a few years back.
With the final release of the phone nearing, we now have more information about its internals, as revealed by the blockchain platform.

A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate are just a few of the features the Solana Saga has to offer.
It also has all the other features that today’s Android flagships do. Additionally, it will come pre-installed with a light, bloat-free flavor of Android 13 and will feature a 50MP primary rear camera and a 12MP ultra-wide shooter.
However, what makes the Saga more interesting is the construction, which includes a titanium frame and ceramic back.
Essential PH-1 previously used the same ingredients. Despite all its flaws, the Solana Saga’s build quality appears to be on par with the previous model.
It had an incredibly strong feel in the hand. To give it a more pronounced feel, it’s also quite heavy.
Moreover, the battery may be one area where the phone will fall short. With a 4,110 mAh battery, you’ll want to read reviews before you buy it because there’s a good chance it won’t hold up.
If you’re interested in buying one, you can reserve it by placing a $100 deposit. It will ship early next year and will cost a total of $1,000. Don’t worry if you don’t like encryption; OSOM has already said that you can turn it all off if you want.
