The Foreign Office (FO) said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit China on November 1 at the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang.
This will be the prime minister’s first official visit to China after assuming office in April this year.
A high-level delegation including Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also accompany him on the two-day visit.

During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet President Xi Jinping and hold delegation-level talks with his Chinese counterpart.
According to FO, the premier will be among the first leaders to visit China after the historic 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
The statement added that the Prime Minister’s visit represents a continuation of leadership-level exchanges between Pakistan and China.
Prime Minister Shahbaz made a similar two-day visit to Saudi Arabia the same week where he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and attended the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit.
