Elon Musk plans to cut 3,700 workers at Twitter Inc., or half the social media company’s workforce, in an effort to cut costs.
Additionally, Musk wants to change the company’s current “work from anywhere” policy and require the rest of the staff to come into offices.
This week, the Tesla billionaire fired every member of the Twitter board in a bid to take full control of the social media platform.
He immediately fired the majority of senior executives, including Parag Agarwal, the boss, and several other executives also left.
After admitting he overpaid for the company, Mr. Musk, who calls himself the “Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator” on his Twitter page, is trying to find ways to cut costs. .
