Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Saturday announced the formation of a parliamentary committee to investigate Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Azam Swati’s allegations that a video recording of him compromising with his wife during his stay in Quetta. done
In a statement, he said, “I feel pained by Azam Swati’s revelations.”
The chairman said that the parliamentary committee will consist of members of all political parties.
The chairman further said that the committee will review all the facts and present the report in the parliament.
PTI Senator Azam Swati had alleged in a press conference yesterday that an unknown user had sent a private video with his wife to his spouse.
While making this revelation, the PTI leader could not control his emotions and burst into tears.
He said that this video was recorded during his stay at the Supreme Court Judicial Lodges in Quetta.
“They made this video during my stay at Quetta Supreme Court Judicial Lodges,” he said, adding, “My wife, daughter and granddaughters have left the country.”
