Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet approved the reconstitution of the Exit Control List (ECL) Committee.
According to the sources, Federal Minister Ayaz Sadiq has been appointed as the convener of the committee.
The Cabinet approved the reconstitution of the committee which was achieved through circulation.
Federal Commerce Minister Naveed Qamar is a member of the ECL Committee while Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Communications Minister Asad Mehmood are also members.
The Supreme Court had directed the government to bring the recent changes in the ECL rules “in the ambit of law”.
