PTI Chairman Imran Khan lashed out at senior Muslim League-N leaders, a day after a meeting in London to take crucial decisions on the appointment of the next army chief.
In a televised address to the protesters of the Long March in Lala Musa, Khan said: “It is beyond anyone’s imagination in a civilized society that important decisions of the country are made abroad and by people who have been holding the wealth of the state for the last 30 years. Returning.”
A day ago, there was an important meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif in London, in which it was decided to appoint the most senior army officer as the next army chief.
Khan added that he did not want to appoint an army chief of his choice, reiterating that the appointment of the army chief should be decided on merit.
The PTI chief added that he never disputed the appointment of the Army Chief.
