Imran Khan will sit and watch appointment of Next Army Chief.

LAHORE: PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that his party is sitting back and watching as the government decides on the appointment of the next army chief.

He criticized PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and alleged that the former prime minister wants to appoint someone to ensure his security.

Commenting on the matter, the PTI chief said, “Let them do what they want. Nawaz Sharif wants to appoint an army chief who will protect his interests. An army chief against the interests of the nation.” Won’t go.”

In a meeting with senior journalists in Lahore, Khan also spoke about his ongoing affair, a day after Umar Farooq Zahoor, a Dubai-based businessman and former minister on behalf of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Revealing about receiving the invitation for talks, PTI Chairman said that we are being sent a message for talks but we responded by asking for the date of the elections, free and fair elections are the solution to all crises.

Talking about PTI’s long march, Khan said that the real freedom movement is showing its effects.

“The awareness and movement of the nation stands firmly against the imported regime. Attempts to subjugate the nation through repression, fascism, and violation of constitutional rights are failing,” Khan said, adding that he wanted to kill them. And efforts to clear the way through bloodshed have long been underway. March also fell flat.

The PTI chairman also reiterated his stand on the need for rule of law in the country to ensure development.

“Rule of law ensures a free nation, which leads the country towards development,” Khan said during the meeting.
