LAHORE: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that PTI’s strategy will be revealed soon as to why the Long March is going to Rawalpindi instead of Islamabad.

In a meeting with some journalists at his residence in Zaman Park here, he talked about his strategy regarding the rally in Rawalpindi on November 26. He said that he would soon announce the future strategy of PTI. Will announce.

To a journalist’s question, he said that he has a surprise for his opponents which he will give on November 26, on that day he will surprise everyone.

Brushing aside all intelligence reports fearing another attack on his life, the PTI chairman vowed to reach Rawalpindi at all costs. “I know my life is in danger. There may be another attack but I will reach Rawalpindi despite all threats,” Imran Khan said.

“I know my wounds will not heal quickly. I will lead the long march with a wounded leg.”

The PTI chief said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition government had sent messages to him through President Arif Alvi. However, he added, their only demand was for free and fair elections. They can discuss other issues after the election date is announced. He said that political parties have lost public support and that is why they want to avoid elections.

The former prime minister said that despite using all the state machinery, the PDM found nothing against him except the Tosha Khana gift watch. He believed that the Gift Watch propaganda would be exposed in court.

He claimed that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is stuck in the London court, it seems that he will resort to out-of-court settlement there as well.

The PTI chairman said that he believes in appointing the army chief on merit. He said that he has no objection to whoever becomes the next Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

The PDM government is trapped from all sides. He claimed that if he called for elections, he would lose badly and if he did not, the country would default.

Imran demanded that the killers of journalist Arshad Sharif be brought to justice and punished according to law.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan called an important meeting of his party’s central leadership to finalize preparations for the Azadi March at his residence Zaman Park in Lahore.

Sources familiar with the matter say that senior PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar will brief the participants about the route of the long march and the convoys moving towards the capital.

The future action plan of the party and the participation of workers in the long march in Rawalpindi will also be discussed in the meeting.
