ISLAMABAD: PTI leader and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Chief of Staff Senator Syed Shibli Faraz has said that if Imran Khan or anyone else participating in the Long March is attacked or there is violence in the party meetings and protests. If it happens, the federal government will be responsible.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Wednesday, Shibli shared a letter from the Home Ministry warning of a security threat to the PTI chief.

“PTI protests and marches are always peaceful because families participate in them,” he said. The PTI leader said that it is the responsibility of the ICT police and administration to provide foolproof security to the protesters.
He said that the federal government will be responsible in case of violence or terrorist attack on any participant, especially Imran Khan.
PTI Senior Vice President Chaudhry Fawad Hussain also wrote on his Twitter handle that “The establishment needs to realize that 66% of Pakistan’s population is below 28 years, the growing middle class and internet penetration have made the ground The principle has changed.

He said that closed door laws have become redundant. He said that course correction is the only way forward.
He further said that the role of the establishment is important but the sovereignty belongs to the people.
