The 55th foundation day of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is being celebrated across the country on Wednesday.
A public meeting will be held in Nishtar Park, Karachi, which will be addressed by Chairman People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The central leadership of PPP is expected to participate in the founding programs of the party across the country.
Alternative routes for traffic
The Karachi Traffic Police has prepared a traffic diversion plan in connection with the public meeting in Nishtar Park today.
The police spokesperson said that apart from identifying alternative routes, parking arrangements will be made for the participants of the rally at Tai Karate Ground and Jinnah Ground.
Participants coming from Liaquatabad via Nizam will come from the post office and Gurumandir, then park their vehicles to proceed to the venue. Participants coming from South and West Districts via MA Jinnah Road can park their vehicles at the parking ground near Nomesh from Capri.
Participants coming from Malir and Eastern districts via Shariah Faisal and Shahrah Qaidin can park their vehicles in the parking lot near the display from the society signal.
Buses, minibuses and other vehicles coming from Nazimabad and Tin Hatti will not be allowed to enter Lasbela. All traffic will be diverted to PP Chowrangi via Banuri Signal or Soldier Bazar from Gurumandir.
People will not be allowed to go towards Nizam and Capri from Jamshed Road and Tin Hatti. They can take Bahadur Yar Jung Road (Soldier Bazar) from Gurumandir and Jail Chowrangi from Jamshed Road.
People will not be allowed to go to the demonstration from PP Chowrangi. All traffic will be diverted from Khudadad Colony flyover ramp to Society Signal towards Shahrah Qadeen or adjoining route.
The public will not be allowed to view the society signal. All traffic will be diverted towards Khudadad Colony Flyover or Ayesha Aziz Chowrangi.
Traffic coming from Lasbela and Albela signals will not be allowed to go towards Soldier Bazar No. 3 (Burto Road). Traffic indicated by MA Jinnah Road Capri signal will be diverted from the signal towards Bahadur Yar Jung Road on the left and Saddar Dispensary on the right.
Entry of all types of heavy traffic from Liaquatabad No. 10 towards Tin Hatti and Gurumandir, from PP Chowrangi Society Signal and Capri Signal towards Prajam will be prohibited.
The traffic police has requested the public to cooperate with its officials and other law enforcement agencies to avoid any trouble.
