Aditya Roy Kapur’s upcoming series The Night Manager had a grand premiere last night where one of his fans tried to forcefully to get intimate with him.
Shutterbugs shared a video in which the actor can be seen interacting beautifully with his fans. While they were meeting them, a woman came forward and asked to take a picture with them. Aditya took a picture with him.
Later, the female fan forcibly tried to kiss him on the cheek. Kapoor felt awkward and pulled her away once but she tried to kiss him again. He slowly pushed the woman away from him and handled the situation like a gentleman. Finally, he kissed her hand before getting into the car.
All the fans on social media slammed the lady for making the actress uncomfortable in public. He called it ‘pure harassment’.
One of the social media users wrote: “Oh my God! This kind of harassment is not right! What is wrong with people? Even I like her but I will not try to forcefully kiss her, this is pure harassment. Is!” While another wrote: “This is too much, what’s wrong with women so mad?” Another fan of Aditya wrote: “The post would have been different if a man had done this.”
Aditya Roy Kapur is making his OTT debut with the series The Night Manager, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. The thriller series is slated to release on Friday. February 17, JEE News reports.
