Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film OMG 2, which was slated to release on August 11, has reportedly been postponed by the censor board.

The board reported many major flaws in OMG 2 which led to it demanding 35 cuts in the film. Not only this, he also demanded to change Kumar’s role from Lord Shiva to Lord Shiva’s messenger.

Now there are reports that the trailer of the film will be released in the next few days as it has received U/A certification from the board. However, there will be no grand launch event on this occasion.

Earlier Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone’s Pathaan and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani never had a spectacular trailer launch event. Rather, they were released directly on social media.

Directed by Amit Roy, OMG 2 stars Akshay Kumar in the role of Lord Shiva. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles. The satirical comedy-drama is a sequel to 2012’s OMG which starred Paresh Rawal in the lead role, reports JEE News.
