Alia Bhatt has been making headlines for the way she carried herself during the promotions of her Hollywood debut film Heart of Stone.
A video is going viral on the internet in which Alia can be seen sitting with co-stars Jamie Dornan and Gal Gadot. In the video, she just sits while Gayle answers a question.
However, netizens pointed out that there is something wrong with the actress. According to him, the way the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress carried herself on an international promotional campaign was not really promising. They are calling it unprofessional.
A social media user wrote: ‘Alia is trying hard to get fit but failing. Meanwhile, another wrote: “Alia’s body language is awkward and not very professional.”
Trolls also claimed that there are many other Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ali Fazal who participated in international promotions, but they did not look unprofessional.
“Alia’s body language is not professional! Deepika, Priyanka, Ali Fazal, all have done international interviews, and are a joy to watch. Alia was bad”, wrote one user.
The internet has had mixed reactions. According to a report by JEE News, while some people are criticizing Alia, some fans also came forward in her support.
In defence, one fan wrote: “Why are all the comments here attacking Aaliyah for just sitting there.”
Another wrote: “Just Indians trying to hate their own actors… Lol.”
Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood debut Heart of Stone is all set to release on August 11 on Netflix.
