During the ongoing promotions of her new romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Sara Ali Khan shared her personal preferences regarding a romantic partner.
Recently, rumors have been doing the rounds about Sara’s alleged romance with cricketer Shubman Gill, after being spotted on a date in the city. However, both Sara and Shubman have chosen to remain silent about the matter.
In a new interview with India Today, Sara was asked if she would be ready to marry a cricketer. He replied that his partner’s profession did not matter to him.
“I think the kind of person I am, finding someone no matter what they do – actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor…”
“But you know the fact is, jokes aside, you’re going to need to match me on a mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think that’s great, wow but I I think it will make a lot of difference to me (more than the profession).”
Asked if she would consider dating any of the current Indian squad, Sara replied, “I’ll be honest with you, I think so and I’m almost sure.” I can say with, I think I’m going to be that person. In my life I have never met. I really don’t think so.”
Meanwhile, Sara and Vicky’s latest film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is doing well at the box office. Directed by Laxman Atekar, the film was released on June 2.
