Filmmaker Anees Bazmee released a statement clarifying a misunderstanding regarding the upcoming Hera Pheri sequel.
According to sources, Farhad Samji is directing the third sequel of the film. Reportedly, Anees rejected the film as producer Feroze Nadiadwala had no script or story in mind.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director has now officially said that his words were misquoted. He says that he is extremely happy for the entire team of Hera Pheri 3. The filmmaker also wished the team well.
Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote: “My words regarding the announcement of Hera Pheri 3 have recently been misquoted and misinterpreted. My condolences to the entire Hera Pheri team. So happy for his 3rd film & I @akshaykumar @SunielVShetty @SirPareshRawal & #firoznadiadwala all love and luck.

A few days ago, a picture from the sets of Hera pheri 3 surfaced featuring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty. The trio were dressed in their iconic characters of Raju, Baburao and Shyam, reports JEE News.
