Anwar Maqsood’s wife Imrana Maqsood has launched her second book ‘Doosri Mulakaat’ in Karachi among her close friends and family.
Actor Yasir Hussain shared a reel which had a glimpse of the book launch event. In which Imran and Anwar are included.
The video also features a bunch of other celebrities; President Arts Council Karachi Ahmed Shah, Shahid Rasam, Raskh Ismail Khan, Alia Imam. The writer’s son, who is also a renowned singer, Bilal Maqsood was also present at the launch event.
In the video, the novelists can be seen reading a few chapters of the book to the audience. Meanwhile, guests at the small-scale event can be seen posing for pictures with the book.
According to the caption on Hussain’s post, Doosri Mulakaat contains some of the author’s memories and some of her husband’s plays.

In 2016, Imrana Maqsood launched her first book Uljhey Suljhey Anwar based on her husband Anwar Maqsood’s life.
