Some iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users appear to be experiencing issues using their phone’s rear camera system with some third-party apps.
Bootaymole, a Reddit user wrote: “So every time I open Snapchat or use the camera for Instagram I’m experiencing uncontrollable camera shake. However, when I use the regular camera app So I don’t have any problem.
Of course, if this problem only affects one user, we probably won’t notify you.
But sure enough, epicfro1995, a Reddit subscriber, commented about the same encounter. “Picked up my new iPhone 14 Pro yesterday and intermittently got iOS camera shake (by shake I mean can see and hear it shaking) in Snapchat, anyone else experience this? I’ve only had One “fix” is to restart the phone, open the default camera app and then open Snapchat. Already deleted and reinstalled Snapchat.
Others have observed that the upheaval occurs only on third-party applications, with TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat being the most commonly reported.
