Without naming anyone, he criticized that a political leader is targeting Pakistan’s forces in the current situation.

Asif said that Pakistan Army is still standing like a mountain while brave soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the country.
He said that there is a need to express solidarity in recognition of the sacrifices of Pakistan forces and show unity in the nation.
He further said that these people want to come back to power.
‘No new military courts being established’

He added that the miscreants seen in the videos of attacks on military properties would be prosecuted.
May 9 protest
On May 9, protests erupted across Pakistan following Khan’s arrest when he appeared in the Islamabad High Court for several pending cases since his ouster last year.
Activists also damaged public property and torched police vehicles in Charsadda, Karachi, Lahore and several other cities after the party called on supporters to “shut down Pakistan” over their arrest.
At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured during the days-long protests, with internet services suspended for more than 72 hours across the country.
To demand Khan’s release, angry mobs attacked sensitive national institutions and buildings on May 9 – including the GHQ and the Corps Commander’s House (Janah House). The protesters also desecrated the martyrs’ memorial and set fire to the building of Radio Pakistan.
