Robert Lewandowski scored his 12th goal in 11 La Liga games as Barcelona beat Athletic Bilbao to move three points behind leaders Real Madrid.
The Poland striker scored his side’s third goal when he drove in an unstoppable drive past Ousmane Dembele.
Lewandowski provided the assist for the opener, lifting the ball high for Dembele to slot in.
Dembele found Sergi Roberto to make it 2-0 and set up a late fourth as he swept past Ferran Torres.
It was a dominant display from Barcelona but some of the shine was taken off the win as Roberto went off with a late shoulder injury.
The win, Barcelona’s second in a row, keeps them in touch with Real, who beat Sevilla 3-1 on Saturday.
Real leads the table with 31 points from 11 matches while Barcelona has 28 points.
