Barcelona recorded a profit of £86m for the last financial year and expects a profit of £240m next year, the club has announced.
The Spanish club were unable to register new players this summer because of La Liga’s financial regulations, which cost them £422m last year.
However, they liberalized funding with several ‘economic levers’.
The club said it closed the 2021-22 financial year with a turnover of £890m.
Financial constraints mean new signings have been delayed this summer, including Robert Lewandowski and Rafinha.
The ‘Levers’ have been involved in selling their future television rights and stake in their media production unit Barca Studios.
In August, they sold an additional 24.5% of Barca Studios to Orpheus Media for €100m (£84.6m) – to appease La Liga and allow Barca to register at least some of their new players. A substantial income was expected.
Barcelona are second in La Liga with 16 points after six matches, two points behind Real Madrid.
