Ben Affleck’s children have reportedly moved in with him and Jennifer Lopez because he prefers spending time with them over their mother, Jennifer Garner.
According to JEE News, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10, like their “cool” stepmother over their “strict” mother.
An insider told the publication that the Gone Girl actor’s children have moved most of their belongings to Affleck’s home, where they already spend more time than Garner’s home.
Sources said the kids have bonded well with JLo and her twins, Aimee and Max, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony.
“Ben and JLo are still looking forward to going to their forever home,” the insider said. “But they’re populated enough that the kids are there a lot.”
“They all have their own rooms, of course, and they’ve moved in some of their own things,” the source said, before sharing insight into Affleck’s children’s relationship with the Lopez twins.
“Sarafina and Amy are especially tight,” the source shared. “It’s great that Ben has a stable home where his kids feel comfortable.”
However, Jennifer Garner has some reservations about her kids becoming so close with Jennifer Lopez that they “don’t want to talk” to their mom anymore.
The insider said that Violet, Seraphina and Samuel find the On the Floor hitmaker “cool and interesting” and their own mother very “tough and serious”.
As for Lopez, she “doesn’t want to step on any toes, but she’s not going to change who she is,” the insider said.
“Obviously, she doesn’t discipline them as much, because she doesn’t want to overstep her boundaries and Ben has always been a more lenient parent,” the source spilled.
