Civil police in Gramado are set to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Larisa Borges. Delegate Gustavo Barcellos said in an interview with Brazilian news source G1 that an investigation would begin once the results of the autopsy were received. Barcellos also alluded to the possibility that Borges had consumed alcohol and “drugs” before his death.
“There is one report that suggests the consumption of alcohol with possible consumption of narcotics,” Barcellos summarized. He explained that the neck of the body is being examined, with laboratory tests aimed at identifying any substances he may have taken. Authorities have already interviewed her boyfriend, who was with her.
Just a week before his death, Borges shared a photo of himself skiing in Gramado, with the caption, “I can believe in tomorrow.”
