Lalamusa: Adviser to Prime Minister on Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that his party wants stability in the country.
Talking to the media, he said that if elections are held in two provinces and Imran Khan forms the government as a result, will he not start fighting with the institutions again? If we win, will Imran Khan accept?
He claimed that nowhere in the constitution it is written that caretaker government will last only for 90 days. The constitution says that elections should be held within 90 days. There is a constitutional requirement for elections within 90 days, but the constitution also requires that the elections be fair, transparent and free. At present Punjab lacks about 300,000 people to conduct elections. He said that the People’s Party has always supported the constitution and will continue to do so.
