Indian superstar couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have welcomed their first child into the world, the actor announced in a social media post on Sunday.
In a post on Instagram, Bhatt and Ranbir, who appeared together this year in Bollywood’s mega production Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, shared a picture of Sher Fakhar with a lion, a tigress and a cub.
Bhatt called the arrival of her first child “the best news of our lives”.
“Our baby is here… and what a magical girl she is,” Bhatt said in a short note as she announced the arrival of Kapoor’s latest magician.
“We are officially bursting with love – happy and crazy parents!!!!”
Bhatta and Kapoor tied the knot in April this year in one of the most anticipated Bollywood weddings after the couple dated for almost five years.

Soon after the announcement, celebrities from near and far started congratulating the couple.
