Chief Justice Called Meeting of Judicial Commission to Appoint New Judges of Supreme Court

Islamabad – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Atta Bandial has called a meeting of the Judicial Commission on October 24 to appoint new judges in the Supreme Court.

The meeting of the Judicial Commission will be chaired by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial, in which the names of the judges of the High Court will be considered for the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court.

The Chief Justice has proposed the names of four High Court judges, including Chief Justice Athar Minullah of Islamabad High Court, Justice Shahid Waheed of Lahore High Court, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi of Sindh High Court and Justice Shafi Siddiqui. Supreme Court.

Earlier on July 28, the Judicial Commission appointed Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Qaiser Rasheed, Lahore High Court Justice Shahid Waheed, Sindh High Court Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Shafi Shafi Siddiqui and Justice for the appointment of Supreme Court judges.
