Pakistan cricket team head coach Grant Bradburn said after the defeat against New Zealand in the fifth T20I that the team was 15-20 runs short and could have scored more runs in the death overs.

Talking to JEE News, Bradburn said that many things came up in front of him in the T20 series against New Zealand and he realized that the team is more balanced than the Asia Cup and the World Cup.

Bradburn added that he made some mistakes in the field which could have led to the loss on several occasions.

He also pointed out that he could have scored more runs in the last few overs but missed the opportunities.

Mohammad Rizwan was on 97 when the last over started and took a single to reach 98. Imad Wasim also tried to strike him on the fourth ball but was run out.

Faheem Ashraf struck again with a single to give him a chance to score a century but Rizwan failed to connect on the last ball.

Grant Bradburn said that he will test his bench strength in the ODI series as well as playing five matches against New Zealand.

He also wants the team to play a different brand of cricket to become a top team, as he believes that they will be a second or third ranked team with the current brand.
