Auditorium No. 1 of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi erupted with laughter as the theater artist gave a hilarious performance in the comedy Urdu play ‘Biwi Ho Toh Apni’ on the fifth day of the Pakistan Theater Festival.
The month-long theater festival is jointly presented by the Arts Council of Pakistan.
The drama was directed by Ayesha Hassan while its story was given by Kamal Ahmad Rizvi.
The comic characters were portrayed by Hasan Raza, Farhan Alam, Zulfikar Ghori, Anushka Khalid, Rabia Rizwan, Naveed and Khizr Ansari.
Featuring excellent acting talent, the show revolves around a middle-aged man named Salim, who finally decides to get married.
However, Amina, the girl he chooses as his life partner, is less than half his age.
As all comedies go, all hell breaks loose just as Salem is on the brink of complete wedded bliss.
Chaos ensues as Salim and Amina try to navigate their new lives with their house help Shakur.
